It's no stretch to say Apollo's Crotch wouldn't exist without Izedis Apirikubabadazuzukanpa's support since the beginning. Since 2000, Izedis has made a name for himself crafting some of the harshest sounds in the world as leader of seminal California black noise band Enbilulugugal, but he's kept himself just as busy producing pummeling death industrial under the moniker Static Goat. From beneath layers of distortion and noise, tortured vocals ring out over driving electronic beats, creating a singular sound like Whitehouse jamming with John Carpenter. This compilation collects new and previously released material, but the execution is so tight it's as cohesive a piece as any full album.
