Sword2Saber follows up his debut album Walk Pt. 2 with The New Era, capturing an artist constantly in transformation. Staying true to the album’s title, the MC expands his musical vocabulary to include elements of harsh noise and death industrial music, arriving at a fusion of classic hip-hop and power electronics elements. The abrasive new sound deftly serves the dark narratives found within the album’s lyrics, weaving introspective tales of personal growth from painful circumstances.
